Requirements

• Strong AWS or Aliyun experience to architect a solid infrastructure built for scalability, resilience, and security & cost optimization;
• Hands-on experience with Docker, ECS, CDN, SLB, ECS, OSS or similar clustering solutions;
• Strong experience using Zabbix/prometheus/Grafana/Cacti; • Hands-on experience in using Ansible/SaltStack/Puppet Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills;
• Experience with handling big projects and ensuring collaboration across all engineering teams;
• Strong scripting skills with Bash or Python, experience with scripting languages and fixing issues fast knowledge of databases, web hosting, and other web services;
• Experience of setting up routers, switches, and other networking gear;
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written;

Job Description

• Build and deploy monitoring and alerting systems across our entire infrastructure;
• Maximize the utilization of cloud resources to balance performance and cost;
• Be responsible for end-to-end software delivery which includes continuous integration and delivery;
• Maintain services and overall system health by implementing proper monitoring and symptoms based alerting policies;
• Collaborate with engineers across different teams to ensure services and components are operating reliably and securely;
• Ensure redundancy, resiliency and reliability of the infrastructure;
• Strong writing skills; ability to craft clear and concise documentation;
• Manage Gitlab instance and Continuous integration tools;
• Control services in AWS or Aliyun for various web related functions;
• Create hardware requirements and purchasing servers;
• Diagnose & fix server related issues;
• Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health;
• Measure and optimize system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve;
• Monitor and report issues related to networking;
• Maintain 24x7 production environment with an elevated level of service availability;
• Perform quality reviews, manage operational issues and availability for on-call 24x7 rotation.
