Job Description

1. Responsible to analyze a given problem, diagnose and find the root cause, then either solve it or pass the problem to relevant team it does not lie within area of responsibility.
2. Responding to production emergencies – this incorporates the area of: Application Down or System Error.
3. Assisting Users and answering questions – this requires understanding on existing Business Process / Procedures then formulize the resolution.
4. Responding to environment changes, such as: implementation fixing of bug system. Action is required from Application Support team to ensure the Applications remain stable and accurate.
5. Providing Monthly and Ad-Hoc report by query database or SSIS package
6. Working with the Business/System Support Analyst in identifying and proposing Application system changes specially to fixing related to bug in production

Qualifications

1. Min. Bachelor's Degree from Information Technology or similar major
2. Min. 2-3 years of experience in Application Support
3. Hands on skill in SQL queries, particularly in DB2 or SQL Server
4. Experienced with troubleshooting skill, problem solving and analytical thinking
5. Experience in software testing
6. Experience to work together with Vendor or Local team in order to solving the apps issues
7. Capable to write technical documentation
8. Experience of tracking and solving application support issue from Users, prioritizing requests, implementation and communicating timely solutions.
9. Able to communicate in English both verbal and written
10. Understanding in Life Insurance products and business processes is a plus
