Role and Responsibilities

To be responsible for the implementation of all activities related with the Tax, Legal, administration and strategic involvement in company decision making process and compliance with company corporate governance practices and statutory compliance practices.

Typical Accountabilities

  •  Ensure all statutory and legal compliances companies have to follow under existing corporate tax/VAT regulations.
  • Ensure all Tax dues are settled and paid on time without any penalty.
  • Preparation and review and on time submission of all tax /VAT return -monthly and annual or any other interval as required.
  • Ensure all corporate tax and VAT refund claims are executed on time and timely recovery of the full amount
  • Prepare, present and represent the company on Corporate or VAT audits.
  • Ensure all VAT/Corporate tax reconciliation are prepared and kept.
  • Coordinate and liaise with tax department and ensure healthy relations are maintained with departments.
  • Coordinate with Tax consultant and provide the timely information for tax audit stage /objection or Tax court cases
  • Ensure all working contact with suppliers /customers are updated and maintain the updated file.
  • Ensure all transfer pricing study /documentation are held and kept and updated.
  • Identify the tax planning opportunities in any aspect of the enterprise by using his or her expertise.
  • Ensure tax liability is correctly computed and provided both corporate tax/Differed tax
  • Ensure all supporting documentation and working on contract manufacturing are maintained
  • Liaise with Plc /Filters head office on all tax related matters.
  • Provide support on statutory/group audits/Customs audit.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal team and conduct tax awareness and training program.
  • Ensure all supporting documents details are maintained and properly filed.
  • Represent the company in case need on Tax audit/Objection/Tax court hearing.
  • He or she needs to prepare the correspondences and presentation materials properly.
  • Responsibility to maintain the coordination with the departments with assigned new projects or businesses.
  • The tax specialist has to do the effective management of the incorporation tax requirements for new ventures and business in the pre-operating stage.
  • It is the duty to do the research work for the legal issues, concerns, solutions and filing positions.
  • It is needed to make sure that the positions are in compliance with local and international tax laws with respect to Tax.
  • Ensure that international withholding tax has held as regulation by back up with supporting document (CoD, other documentation) on monthly basis
  • Prepare reconciliation Fiscal Vs commercial on monthly basis (tax depreciation, correction fiscal, list of nominee, review TB from tax view of point, etc)
  • Prepare reconciliation of sales vs annual tax return, cash flow, receivable flow, equalization of withholding tax, etc.) on quarterly
  • Prepare and analysis segmentation report based on half year basis
  • Prepare of annual tax return and the supporting list at end year.
  • Any other jobs as allocated time to time by the Manager /Department head as the case may be.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • At least 5-10 years’ work experience in Finance with at least 6 years experiences in Tax
  • Experience working in MNC manufacturing environment and consultant auditor in managerial level
  • Preferably 2-3 years experiences in Big 4
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or CMA certified
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Skills, Analytical thinker / Problem solver, Interpersonal Skills, Attention to Detail
  • Strong Business Acumen.
  • Having strong knowledge of Taxation/Transfer pricing - all compliance/Procedure Advance excel skill, MS office and data management
