Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in any field includes architecture, civil engineer, management, etc.
• Min. 5 years of hands-on experience as Specialist in Health and Safety Environment position
• Min. 10 years of experience within the field of health and safety
• Ability to develop and deliver health and safety training
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Bahasa Indonesia and English)
• Able to work flexible hours necessary to manage and operate the school effectively.
• In depth knowledge of HSE standard & procedures
• Good analytical skills and the ability to think critically
• Good public speaking skills
• Good organization skills
• Leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Assist, support and provide guidance to the school operations on health and safety matters. This essentially means working as a champion for health and safety in order to raise the profile and standards of health and safety across all schools.
• Work closely with the Facility & Operations in order to facilitate effective health and safety with all Cikal schools.
• Ensure that Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are maintained, and communicated to all staff.
• Develop the reporting system to monitor incidents and consolidate incidents statistics to present to the Head of General Affairs and other key stakeholders.
• Addressing the action points in a timely manner and raising ongoing issues with the Head of General Affairs.
• Develop and deliver specific health and safety-related training sessions to all staff and students and the safety culture is encouraged amongst Cikal staff and students.
• Support the development and implementation of risk assessments within schools.
• Monitor health & safety compliance via regular school visits and attendance of school-based health & safety committee meetings.
