Roles and Responsibilities:

-Perform design of electro-Pneumatic-mechanical system, automation subsystem, and conveyor system.

-To generate 3D CAD system design and 2D CAD detail drawing, update BOM and documentation related to design

-Work within a team setting and manage all functions in order to accomplish the tasks within the planned timing schedule

-Provide expert technical support to our field engineers and customers during critical customer evaluation

-Hands-on in assembly and troubleshooting in mechanical modules

-To setup the machine according to design intention

-To troubleshoot/check for errors in design and align assembly and components

-Handle assignments under minimal supervision and tight schedule

-Review drawings for completeness and accuracy

-To become team leader/ project leader when required

Qualifications:

-Degree in Mechanical Engineering

-Good team player with strong passion for design

-Self-motivated and able to work independently

-Strong analytical and problem solving skills

-Good understanding in Materials and Metallurgy for material selection process

-Proficient in using CAD tools like Solidworks, AutoCAD and other simulation tools

-Good skills of using MS Word and MS Excel

-Experienced in mechanical engineering calculations and component selection

-Produce design documents, drawings, BOM, Test reports and other related documentation

-Proficient mechanical fabrication processes such as sheetmetal works, Welding works and CNC machining for design considerations
